I lost my father at a very young age, and his absence has been a silent companion ever since. Over the years, I found myself longing for something more than just memories — something tangible. Something that, when I held it close, would feel like the warmth of his embrace.

That longing became the inspiration for this design: “A Hug From Above.”.

The Design That Speaks Volumes

The word “DAD” is created in a bold appliqué font, giving it a strong and lasting presence. For those who want an even more personal keepsake, you can send in a piece of your father’s clothing, which I will carefully incorporate into the letters — making each sweatshirt truly one of a kind.

Above the word, gold-thread wings and halo add a heavenly touch, symbolising love, guidance, and presence from above.

Below, the words “A Hug From Above” are stitched with care — a reminder that even though our fathers may no longer be physically with us, their love always surrounds us.

Why It Matters

This crewneck isn’t just embroidery — it’s comfort sewn into every line. It’s a daily embrace for anyone missing their father, a keepsake that lights up the quiet moments when words aren’t enough.

For me, whenever I miss my dad, I wrap myself in this jumper and it feels like he’s right there with me. My hope is that it brings that same comfort to others who carry their fathers in their hearts.
